Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Trustee Awards 2025

Recognising those who make a difference behind the scenes and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps!

As part of the Volunteering for Health programme, delivered in partnership with VAST, Support Staffordshire, and the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB), we are proud to launch the Trustee Awards to celebrate the outstanding contributions of trustees across our area.

Trustees play a vital role in guiding charitable organisations, offering strategic leadership, governance, and a deep commitment to community wellbeing. These awards aim to shine a light on individuals who have gone above and beyond in their trustee roles bringing passion, expertise, and vision to the organisations they serve.

Submit your nomination today and help us celebrate the power of trusteeship during Trustees’ Week (Monday 3rd until Friday 7th November 2025).

Please be aware that the nominations will be evaluated by a panel who may not be aware of the organisation/project so make your nominations clear and detailed enough to make informed decisions. We want to know about who you’re nominating, the work they’ve done, and why you think they deserve to be nominated in the category you have chosen.

Who can nominate or be nominated?

Nominations are open to all Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations operating in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, and we welcome submissions from colleagues, peers, and community members who wish to celebrate the impact of a trustee they admire.

Whether they’ve helped steer a charity through challenging times, championed innovation, or strengthened community connections, we want to hear their story.

When (and how) will the winners be announced?

Winners will be announced at one of the Lunch, Learn, and Celebrate sessions taking place during Trustees Week from Monday 4th until Friday 7th November 2025. More on these sessions below, together with the nominees!
