Outreach and Engagement Volunteer
This role will suport the Dudson Museum’s fundraising and events by:
- orgainsing fundraising events,
- helping to develop a fundraising plan,
- building relationships with donors and sponsors,
- contacting fundraising supporters, keeping them up to date with what’s going on and helping them to feel a part of the team, and
- informing and developing grant ideas.
In this role, you will help develop our relationship with local schools and colleges to promote visits within the Dudson Museum through:
- managing relationships with schools,
- developing and maintaining educational materials, and
- developing and delivering educational visits and workshops.
The role of Outreach and Engagement volunteer will help with promoting the museum’s collection and heritage, and increasing awareness of the Dudson Museum.
You will:
- work with other volunteers and staff to develop a number of events,
- work with our communications team to create and share promotional content.
Museum Front of House & Events Volunteer
In this role you’ll support in organising and setting up of events for the Dudson Museum and Dudson Centre, including on-the-day support and delivery of allocated activities or roles.
You’ll be welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to the site, assisting visitors to enjoy a positive and memorable experience, and assisting with the delivery of events and activities.
