Have you ever considered giving some of your time to help other people in Stoke-on-Trent to gain a new skill or to enjoy activities that they might find difficult?

Stoke-on-Trent Libraries are currently looking for volunteers in some of their venues.

Volunteers with Stoke-on-Trent Libraries can expect:

  • Training to meet the standard required
  • Regular support meetings
  • Priority booking and/or complimentary tickets for library events
  • Celebration events held to thank volunteers for their contributions
  • A referee for job applications

As part of CLaY: Communities, Libraries and You Stoke-on-Trent Libraries are setting up groups in libraries that will support Dads – providing a social setting where Dads can meet in a safe and supportive environment with their children.

As part of CLaY: Communities, Libraries and You Stoke-on-Trent Libraries are setting up Menopause support groups in libraries where people can come and talk about their personal experience of menopause. 

As part of the CLaY: Communities, Libraries and You project Stoke-on-Trent Libraries are recruiting a number of volunteers who will support Local History Groups in libraries with a focus on adult wellbeing.
