Become a Schoolreaders Volunteer!
Help Children Grow Their Reading Confidence
Schoolreaders volunteers are matched with a local primary school to listen to children read one‑to‑one. By giving just a small amount of time each week, volunteers help children improve their reading and comprehension skills — while also helping them discover a love of books.
At a time when only 1 in 3 children say they read for pleasure in their free time, volunteers play an important role in supporting schools and young readers.
