Collection Box Coordinator – Staffordshire 

We’re looking for friendly, organised volunteers to help coordinate a network of collection tins and daffodil boxes across local communities in Staffordshire.

This flexible role helps support fundraising by keeping donation points active, organised, and well looked after.


   What’s Involved

  • Placing and emptying collection tins in local pubs, shops, and other busy venues

  • Identifying new venues and asking if they would like to host a tin or daffodil box

  • Getting site permission forms signed and sharing them with the fundraising team

  • Coordinating daffodil box placements during the Great Daffodil Appeal (February–April)

  • Keeping your community fundraiser informed of active collection sites

  • Counting and banking donations

  • Completing basic paperwork

  • Thanking venues for their support


   What We Provide

  • Full training

  • Collection tins and daffodil boxes

  • An official ID card


   What You’ll Need

  • To be organised and reliable

  • A friendly, approachable manner

  • Confidence chatting with venue staff

  • The ability to keep in touch and share updates


   Time Commitment

  • Flexible volunteering

  • Around 2–3 hours per month, depending on how many tins you manage
