About Hanley Connect
Hanley Connect provides support and activities for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The service offers a welcoming and safe environment, and volunteers play an important role in helping the Hub run smoothly.
About the Volunteering Scheme
This volunteering scheme is developed primarily for Brighter Futures customers. This includes people who may have learning disabilities or lived experience of homelessness, mental ill health, substance misuse, or offending behaviour.
The role aims to help people reconnect with their community while gaining skills, confidence, and a sense of self-worth. However, people volunteer for many different reasons, and the role is open to anyone interested.
