Father Hudson's Young at Heart Project Ancestry Group
Do you have a passion to support older people in your community? Do you want to make a difference? Learn new Skills? Connect with others? Father Hudson's Young at Heart Social Groups provide support and activities for older people who may be experiencing social isolation and loneliness. Young at Heart Project are working in partnership with Staffordshire Libraries to run a Local History Group and Ancestry Group.

Venue: Newcastle Library, Castle House, Barracks Road, Newcastle, ST5 1BL
Time: Every 2nd Wednesday of the Month 10:30am- 12pm
We are looking for a volunteer to help support our Ancestry Group. To help and support people to navigate the Ancestry online computer service. A knowledge of genealogy and experience of working with the Ancestry online service would be an advantage.

Skills and qualities required for:
Ancestry Group Volunteer Good knowledge of genealogy, computers and online Ancestry service.
Professional manner reflecting the charities values
Good time keeping
Good communication skills
Reliable, trustworthy, motivated and enthusiastic
As a Volunteer you will:
Be registered with Father Hudson's volunteering scheme Respect and value service users' knowledge, experiences and opinions Adhere to Father Hudson's Care Safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety and other relevant policies Participate in role related trainings, meetings and events
