We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable volunteers (18+) to join our team as Volunteer Shop Assistants.
About the Role
As a Volunteer Shop Assistant, you will play an important role in keeping the shop welcoming, organised, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
Helping with the organisation, pricing, and display of products
Supporting stock rotation and basic inventory tasks
Handling sales transactions and using the till (training provided)
Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well organised
Supporting special events and promotions when needed
Working alongside staff and other volunteers as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliability and good timekeeping
A genuine interest in helping others and supporting the community
Time Commitment
Minimum 4 hours per week
Opening times:
Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Flexible hours available to fit around your schedule.
