Why do we need you?
Urban Wilderness helps make Longton Town Centre a vibrant, welcoming place through large‑scale events and bold public art installations. Our volunteers play a vital role in bringing creativity into public spaces and celebrating Longton’s history and community.
What You’ll Be Doing
Making things with your hands
Learning new creative skills
Working as part of a friendly team
Helping to create exciting public artworks for Longton
Taking part in projects for the town centre, including the annual Pig Walk Carnival and other events
You’ll work alongside local artists and be involved in colourful, eye‑catching art projects that make Longton a lively place to live and visit.
Drop‑In Sessions
We host relaxed, welcoming creative sessions that you can attend regularly or as suits you:
Every Wednesday: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Alternative Fridays: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Individuals or groups — come on your own, with friends, or as part of a group

No experience needed — just curiosity and enthusiasm.
