What You'll Do
In this role, you will welcome visitors and provide information about what there is to see and do on site. You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries, deliver optional heritage tours using approved scripts, and share the history of Middleport Pottery and Burleigh. You will engage with visitors taking part in the Heritage Trail, answer questions, and signpost additional activities where appropriate. You will communicate clearly with groups, gather feedback from visitors, and help maintain a high standard of customer experience.

An interest in heritage and the ability to learn about the history of Middleport Pottery is required. You should be able to lead groups, work on your own initiative, and take a logical approach to tasks. Flexibility is important, including supporting other areas and covering where needed.

Additional training includes two-way radio use, health and safety, and safeguarding. Ongoing development opportunities are provided as needed.
