Compassion Kitchen is a charity providing free hot meals and practical support to homeless individuals and those in need within the local community. With the help of volunteers, we serve food every Sunday in a welcoming and respectful environment.


What the Role Involves

Volunteering every Sunday from 9:00am to approximately 1:30pm
Helping to prepare and cook hot meals
Serving a hot meal and drink to guests (menu changes weekly)
Supporting the distribution of toiletries and clothing when available
Working as part of a team to serve around 65–70 people each week

All food and support provided is free of charge to members of the community.


Skills and Experience Desired

Friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable
Trustworthy and reliable
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work as part of a team
Interest in cooking or baking
Minimum age: 18 years

No formal qualifications are required.
