Early Years Volunteer – Big Cup Playgroups
The Early Years Volunteer role is a fantastic opportunity to support families and young children in your local community through our Big Cup playgroups.
Big Cup sessions provide a relaxed and fun environment where parents and carers can spend quality time with their children, access emotional support, and connect with other parents.
Volunteers play a vital role in welcoming families, supporting parents, and helping to create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Volunteers must be 16 years or over. This role is particularly suitable for anyone interested in developing a career in early years.
General Duties
As an Early Years Volunteer, you will:
Help ensure a safe and stimulating environment
Get to know parents/carers and children attending the sessions
Engage with children by getting down to their level and playing
Support the running of Big Cup sessions, including:
Setting up
Meet and greet
Kitchen duties
Supporting parents where needed
Be involved in planning stimulating activities for Big Cup sessions
Session Times
Big Cup sessions run from 9:30am to 11:30am at the following locations:
Monday – Bentilee
Tuesday – Tunstall
Wednesday – Newcastle‑under‑Lyme, Abbey Hulton
Thursday – Longton
Friday – Newcastle‑under‑Lyme
