Changes Health & Wellbeing provides mental health support services for children, young people, and adults in Stoke‑on‑Trent and across Staffordshire, including:

We are looking for a friendly and engaging volunteer to help run our weekly craft, knitting, and social group.
About the Role
This is a 2‑hour group session, running weekly, offering a relaxed and supportive space where people can:
Socialise
Take part in crafts
Knit or crochet
Enjoy shared creative activity
You’ll help members feel welcome, comfortable, and valued, supporting positive wellbeing through creativity and connection.
What You’ll Do
Help facilitate a weekly craft/knitting/social session
Engage group members and encourage participation
Support individuals to enjoy activities that interest them
Create a calm, inclusive, and welcoming environment
Offer basic guidance with knitting, crochet, or simple crafts
What We’re Looking For
A warm, approachable, and engaging personality
Ability to help people feel at ease and included
Basic knowledge of knitting, crochet, and/or simple crafts
Good listening and communication skills
A supportive and non‑judgemental approach
