As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening and evolving our governance team, FRONTLINEdance will welcome new Board Directors and Board Members at our Annual General Meeting on Saturday 26 September 2026.

Our overarching ambition is to strengthen our foundations, expand our impact, and ensure that d/Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent people (dDDN) and people with long-term health conditions (LTHC) can access, enjoy, and thrive within arts and culture across Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire, and beyond.
We are committed to building a Board that reflects the people and communities we serve and to broadening the diversity of voices represented within our governance.
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with lived and/or professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
Practising contemporary dance artists working across performance, health, or community settings
Contemporary dance producers, project managers, artistic directors, or professionals involved in creative health
Disability arts creatives, producers, or directors
Legal expertise, including charity law, employment law, company law, compliance, and governance frameworks
Business development and income generation
Understanding of the Arts Council England Investment Principles:
Ambition & Quality
Dynamism
Environmental Responsibility
Inclusivity & Relevance
Leadership experience within clinical, education, community, arts, dance, charity, or not-for-profit settings
Experience of touring, disability arts, screen dance, performance, facilitation, creative health, commissioning, supporting disabled artists, and advocacy for dDDN communities
Strategic leadership and organisational development
Oversight and management of company finances, business accounts, and budgets
