Council Bid for Homelessness │ Tender Opportunity
The Council has opened tender applications for the commissioning of new Housing Related Support (HRS) services starting 1 April 2026, following the expiry of current contracts in March 2026.
This fund is for registered charities, CICs, voluntary organisations, and community groups in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent that provide support services for children living with disabilities.
There are three Lots available under the live tender:
Lot 1 – Homelessness Prevention & Rough Sleeping Pathway
Adults 18+, singles/couples, including vulnerable females and street sex workers.
Focus on outreach, emergency accommodation, floating support, and pathways to recovery and independence.
Lot 2 – Young People & Teenage Parents (HRS)
For ages 16–25 including expectant mothers and teenage parents.
24/7 supported accommodation, floating support, supported lodgings, mediation, and life skills development.
Lot 3 – Homeless Families (HRS)
For vulnerable families and single parents.
Accommodation-based and floating support with a focus on resilience, tenancy management, and preventing repeat homelessness.
Who can apply for bidding?
Providers may apply individually or as part of an alliance or consortium.
Multiple bids are allowed, and alliances can share resources, expertise, and costs.
Bidders should demonstrate understanding of local homelessness needs, collaborative approaches, and strong service delivery models.
