Hyper-Local Support Network
Is your organisation a Welcoming Space or community hub? Do you support your community at a hyper-local level?
The support you provide to your communities is vital, and we want to help support the continuation of that work, by listening to you and connecting you with other individuals and organizations that provide that hyper-local support in their parts of the city.
Come get a brew, share your knowledge and resources, speak with the VAST team and other service providers and hear from one of our long standing Welcoming Space members.
VAST’s new Welcoming Spaces Coordinator Alex will be joining the session, looking to work with you to shape the future of Welcoming Spaces across the city – so bring your creative ideas, and we’ll create a plan for bringing the best out of Stoke-on-Trent’s Welcoming Spaces.
We want your collaborative ideas on what a Welcoming Space should be, what news they’re interested in, what their branding should look like and be used for, and what would make them feel like they are making the most impact.
This networking session will be held at Temple Street Methodist Church. There is a small carpark just across from the church and street parking available as well as being just across the road from the bus stop.
The session is free and will run from 14:00 – 15:30 on Wednesday the 26th of November.
If you have any questions ahead of the session, please email support@vast.org.uk
