Dudson Centre Shop Opens Showcasing Dudson Heritage & Local Creativity

The brand new shop in the Dudson Centre showcases ceramics of iconic Dudson heritage alongside a selection of contemporary crafts, artwork, and other items made by local makers and small businesses; a wonderful sample of the vibrant and creative art scene in Stoke-on-Trent.

The shop stocks a variety of Dudson ceramics and books, perfect for anyone interested in the rich history of the site, the Dudson family, and the exquisite ceramics that were produced on site from 1809. There are also a variety of unique items created by talented local artists including handmade greetings cards, stunning glass decorative pieces, small and large art prints, handmade ceramics, jewellery, and more.

Following the Dudson Museum’s extensive refit, the new gift shop has moved from a small area in the museum itself to its new home; a dedicated larger room in the Dudson Centre reception.

Original Dudson ceramics are available to buy including modern tableware produced at the Tunstall site pre-2019, and a beautiful selection of ‘preloved’ Dudson ceramics from the 1800’s. These affordable antiques are ideal for any enthusiast or new Dudson collector. The shop also stocks a range of books perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about the origins of Dudson pottery, the Dudson family, and the beautiful items they created for over 200 years.

The Dudson Centre shop is open from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
