Door2Door Transport Service
The transport service with community at heart
“I would highly recommend the scheme. It makes a tremendous difference as I don’t feel so lonely or isolated.”
Betty, Door2Door Customer
Door2Door is a Community Transport scheme that provides transport services to people who would otherwise find it difficult to get out and about, including getting to hospital and doctors appointments.
But it’s not only formal appointments Door2Door can provide journeys for. It can be anything from shopping and getting a hair cut to community activities and social events, and much more!
Thanks to our fabulous team of volunteer drivers, we support people to get out and about in their communities helping reduce isolation and enabling people to maintain their independence for longer.
We provide reduced-cost transport to people in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme who are unable to use public transport, so you can:
- Attend health-related appointments including optician and dentist services,
- Carry out errands such as shopping and banking,
- Access hairdressing and other services,
- Visit local friends,
- Engage in local social clubs and activities and,
- Access vital public services including local council and benefits services.
“It adds to my life, I would have to stay at home if this scheme was not available.”
Mr Stacks, Door2Door Customer
