Welcome to the latest edition of our COVID-19 vaccination Stakeholder Briefing.
In this briefing we will share the latest updates from the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent vaccination programme on a fortnightly basis.
As our stakeholders and partners, you can support the programme by sharing the messages and assets within the toolkits on your own social media channels, newsletters and networks so we can reach the people and communities in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
Updates
Spring booster campaign
NHS England has announced that the spring 2023 booster campaign will offer all older age care home residents, those 75 years or over, and immunosuppressed individuals aged 5 years and over, a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine from early April. Work is currently ongoing to confirm local plans for the delivery of this phase of the programme.
There are still cases of COVID-19 being confirmed daily and people are being hospitalised. This highlights the importance of the COVID-19 spring vaccination campaign and that we should continue to encourage those eligible to come forward and top up their protection when they are called by the NHS in April.
