County Organiser | Staffordshire Young Farmers

Staffordshire County Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs is seeking to appoint a County Organiser.

Staffordshire Young Farmers are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated individual for our County Federation, supporting its 650 members across 10 clubs.

The County Organiser role is to provide organisational support, administration and delivery of the YFC programme of activities provided to YFC clubs and members within the county of Staffordshire, with the assistance of two part-time secretaries.

You will need:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience of fundraising and working within budgets, working alongside our County Treasurer.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • To be able to undertake some weekend and evening working.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Contract: Full time position available, flexible or part-time applications will be considered.

Salary: NJC Grade 7, points 15 to 22, currently £27,803 to £31,364 for full time, and pro rata for
part-time. Dependent on experience and qualifications.

Pension scheme.

Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, including statutory bank holidays, for full time appointments and pro-rata for part-time.

Hours of work: Full time, 37 hours per week, with some evening & weekend working (with time off in
lieu). Part time hours of work by negotiation.

Location: Predominantly office based at SFYFC Office, Stafford County Showground, Weston Road,
Stafford, ST18 0BD.
