Salary: £25,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Savana for someone to join our team as a Children’s Independent Sexual Violence Advisor
The right attitude and a willingness to learn are key to becoming an CHISVA. Experience of working with victims of sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social or community setting would be an advantage although we would be keen to hear from you if you can demonstrate how your skills and experience can be applied to this role. Experience of working with children and young people 18 years and under would also be advantageous.
You must have experience of planning and delivering caseloads and strong crisis management skills, with an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing sexual violence. An approved and accredited CHISVA qualification is preferable for this post although candidates with the right approach and a willingness work towards CHISVA accreditation will also be considered.
To be successful in this role you should have good IT skills, a good repour with children and young people and a knowledge of criminal justice system including an understanding of court procedures.
