InVOLved project secures further three years funding!
VAST and Expert Citizens CIC are delighted to share that InVOLved has successfully secured funding for a further three years of delivery via MHCLGs Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund.
Firstly, VAST and Expert Citizens would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the project so far through the Stoke-on-Trent City Council funded pilot. Whether through hosting activities, participating in consultation events, supporting the pilot, making connections, sharing expertise, championing the vision, or volunteering as a participant, your involvement has helped demonstrate the value and potential of this approach.
This investment is a significant vote of confidence in what we have already achieved together. It recognises the importance of creating accessible, welcoming opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage to build confidence, develop skills, strengthen social connections, and move towards greater independence.
As we move into the next phase, we are excited about the opportunities for even closer partnership working. Over the next three years, we will work together to expand activity, strengthen pathways to volunteering, support community venues, and contribute to a more connected and preventative system across Stoke-on-Trent.
We look forward to working with you as we build on the foundations already established and create lasting impact. We would be delighted to present the developing model, what’s been achieved so far, and how we can build on our work together in the next phase
The new phase of the programme will be formally launched at the Expert Citizens conference and awards in November.
