Project Coordinator | Volunteering for Health
We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, curiosity and strong relationship-building skills to lead our Volunteering for Health programme across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent
Hosted at VAST, this role sits at the heart of cross-sector approaches between Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) and health sectors. You’ll work closely with partners including Support Staffordshire, the Integrated Care System (ICS) Health and Care People Team, NHS Trusts and VCSE organisations to grow, strengthen and champion volunteering as a powerful force supporting the delivery of high quality health and care for our local population.
By connecting people, organisations and opportunities, you’ll help:
· increase the volume and range of high-quality volunteering opportunities across the health system
· ensure volunteers experience volunteering that is rewarding, meaningful and well supported
· enable health and care staff to volunteer, strengthening community organisations while supporting staff wellbeing
· support system-wide learning and leadership on the value and impact of volunteering
Salary
£28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Hours Per Week
37 hours per week
Location
Stoke-on-Trent and across Staffordshire (ability to travel essential)
