Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund
Up to £37m in revenue and capital funding will be available over the next three years. The fund is aimed at voluntary, community and faith sector organisations in England with an income of up to £5 million, and who have at least three years’ experience delivering homelessness or rough sleeping support.
The purpose of the fund is to help strengthen community based support, transform day services, and improve support for independent living, with a strong focus on prevention.
Applications can include revenue funding, capital funding, or a combination of both within a single bid. The prospectus also highlights the importance of local authority support, which will form part of the assessment process.
Who can apply?
VCFS organisations in England with a maximum annual income of £5 million that have been delivering support for at least 3 years to individuals at risk of, or currently experiencing, homelessness and rough sleeping.
To apply for this grant, your organisation must be a voluntary, community or faith sector (VCFS) organisation, operating in England, and established for charitable, benevolent or philanthropic purposes. Eligible organisations include:
- Charitable companies limited by guarantee registered with Companies House and with The Charity Commission or an Exempt Charity
- Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO) registered with The Charity Commission
- Community Interest Companies (CIC) registered with Companies House
- Community Benefit Societies (CBS) or Co-operative societies registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
- Parochial Church Councils (PCC)
Funding Amount
Between £50,000 and £200,000 in revenue funding for up to three years and between £50,000 and £200,000 in capital funding for one year.
