This learning event is hosted by The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board (SSASPB).
Following a Safeguarding Adult Review, published in 2022, Practitioners in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent identified the need for a better understanding of Trauma Informed Practice in Adult Safeguarding
The presenter of this event is Patrick Hopkinson, who has many years of experience as a Strategic Manager for Adult Safeguarding and is also the author of several Safeguarding Adult Reviews under the Care Act 2014. Patrick was the Independent Reviewer for the SSASPB SAR which instigated the request for this training.
