Thanks to funding from The Community Foundation for Staffordshire and The Culture Recovery Fund, we were able to create this new website dedicated solely to the Museum and the exquisite pottery collection it houses, giving it the showcase and recognition, it deserves. Whilst delving into the history of the Dudson family and their famous collection, the new site also includes a children’s area with videos and activities, information for school visits, news, events, and the brand new ‘Virtual Tour’ feature.
Even though The Dudson Museum is still currently closed, the team have been working hard behind the scenes making improvements and planning some exciting events to ensure that visitors to this iconic Stoke-on-Trent landmark have a memorable experience. Since securing the emergency funding, the team can continue to develop the visitor experience for when friends from far and wide can be welcomed to the Potteries once again to explore a fascinating heritage that spans three centuries.
