Description:Vice Treasurer (To the Board of Trustees) We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable individual to join our Board of Trustees. This voluntary role will support the Treasurer in overseeing the charity's financial management, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with Charity finance regulations.The Vice Treasurer will provide cover when the Treasurer is unavailable and will work closely with the Treasurer, Finance Sub-Committee, CEO and Finance Manager to ensure sound financial governance.You will need: A strong commitment to Gingerbread Family Support's mission and values Ability to analyse and interpret financial information Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Live within easy access of Stoke on Trent, to attend face-to-face meetings and provide wet signatures on documents Professional background in finance, accounting or business management Ability to dedicate time to quarterly Finance Meetings and Board commitments Understanding of charity accounts, financial statements and reporting requirements Experience in supported housing, Housing Benefits would be desirable Knowledge of charity governance and the wider voluntary sector **Please note flexibility is essential as evening meetings will be required**Gingerbread Family Support is committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable people.All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS.
