Collection Tin Coordinator
Supporting Canine Partners


This role involves managing static collection tins within your local area. You’ll help raise vital funds by identifying new places for tins, emptying them when needed, and banking donations. There’s no set minimum time commitment, but regular involvement is important to make sure tasks are completed.
Without the continued hard work and support of volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to provide our clients with life‑changing assistance dogs.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Identifying local businesses willing to host a collection tin
Placing collection tins in agreed locations
Emptying tins regularly or when they are full
Completing income monitoring sheets
Counting and banking money in line with cash‑handling guidelines
Keeping your Canine Partners staff contact updated with tin locations
Being a valued representative of the charity in your community


What You’ll Need

Aged 18 or over
Access to your own transport and flexibility to visit different locations
Polite, confident, and personable manner
Strong customer service skills
Good organisation and record‑keeping skills
Comfortable working around dogs (with no long‑term ownership commitment or costs)
