Chit Chat 4 U Retro DinerWe need volunteers Monday – Saturday from 8:30am – 6pm, but we usually close around 4pm. We'd love you welcome you to our team whatever your availability! We serve hot drinks, cake and light lunches. We need volunteers to help in the kitchen and front of house.Chit Chat 4 U All are a charity group who work to prevent knife crime, gangs and youth violence. Roles:Cooking: Carry out basic catering tasks including food preparation, cleaning and serving food to customers and clients.Work with the Lead Volunteer to ensure relevant paperwork is completed and checks are carried out ensuring compliance against relevant health and safety policies and proceduresEnsure kitchen area is left clean and tidy and waste is discarded safely Waitressing/Front of House: Support other Café volunteers in the day to day running of the CaféEnsure Café is left clean and tidy and waste is discarded safelyProvide good customer service to café clientsClearing tablesEnsuring tables and chairs are sanitised after useTo assist front of the house taking orders, and serving hot and cold drinks.
