Fundraising Events Volunteer - Kids’ Village
Kids’ Village is working to build the UK’s first respite village dedicated to children with critical illnesses and their families. The village will provide free breaks in a natural setting, offering rest, fun, and care for families who have spent long and difficult periods in hospital. To support this work, we are looking for volunteers to help at fundraising events and raise awareness of Kids’ Village.
About the Role
As a Fundraising Events Volunteer, you will represent Kids’ Village at a range of business and community events. Your support will help us attend as many fundraising opportunities as possible.
Events may include:
Awards dinners
Charity fundraisers
Networking events
Village fetes
Fundraising challenges
You will always volunteer as part of a small team, alongside a Kids’ Village employee or Trustee.
Key Tasks
Selling raffle tickets
Collecting donations
Hosting information or fundraising stands
Talking to guests about Kids’ Village and our work
When
Weekday evenings – mainly corporate and business events
Weekends – community and local events
