This week has been one of reflection and thought. As the nation stood still on Tuesday to mark the anniversary of the first lockdown we paid our respects to the thousands of people whose of lives that have been lost in the UK and around the world to coronavirus.
Whilst the NHS was in the forefront of fighting the virus, for months it felt like the nation’s hopes of a brighter future were pinned on a life saving vaccine.
Now here we are, 12 months on and not only do we have two safe and highly effective vaccines available but we have now vaccinated a staggering 25,319,634 in England and 587,701 locally.
