The Council requires an independent Citywide Advice Service to provide information and support opportunities for vulnerable people in the city, helping people to make informed decisions around a range of issues including managing finances, maximising income, reducing debt and issues that may impact on their housing or living conditions.
The contract duration will initially be 3 years, with the option to extend for a further two 12 month periods – subject to the continued availability of funding. The maximum financial envelope for this service will be £1,814,500.00 over the lifetime of the contract.
