Exchanges for Change is a set of conversations around the themes of mental wellbeing & caring, making & selling, democracy, value and food/growing, and about how we, as local citizens can work together to make changes for the better.

A group of local people met with members of the national think and do tank, CtrlSHIFT back in March to discuss the issues and local opportunities around these themes and while the focus was on creating positive action, it was felt that there were some other things to talk about first. This included how issues around power play out in all our lives as well as North Staffordshire’s reputation, often bestowed on us by outsiders but that creates negativity and limitations.

Join UnLtd – The Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs – on Friday 6th August at the Better World Festival for an interactive workshop about how we talk about ourselves and our City to start to reclaim our individual and collective stories and develop our power to act for good.
