Stoke-on-Trent life course Learning Disability strategy consultation

Stoke-on-Trent Learning Disabilities Board, in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke Clinical Commissioning Group, would like to hear your views on the draft life-course Learning Disability Strategy “Living my best life 2021-26”.

We want people living with learning disabilities regardless of their age; to be safe and healthy, enjoying and achieving their goals and living in a home and community that makes them happy. The “Living my best life” strategy sets out our vision for Stoke-on-Trent and identifies actions needed to achieve our ambition.

We have co-produced the draft strategy by engaging with children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, parents and carers and community organisations and advocacy that provide support and care to people with learning disabilities. We would now like your feedback. There is also an opportunity to join us in our work going forward.

Please read the strategy, share it, discuss it, but most importantly, let us have your views and comments. You can do this either by completing this brief online survey or accessing the Equal People website where you will find an easy read/clear information version and consultation pack. You only need to complete one.

Closing date 21st February  2021.
