Mental Health at Work in the Spotlight: Strategies to Improve Mental Health, Wellbeing and Performance at Work – Melaney Doyle, Executive Global Solutions Ltd
We live in a fast-paced digital world of competitive workplaces and turbulent economic conditions where the boundaries between work and home are increasingly blurred. Working life for many means constantly juggling the demands of time with work piling on top of work. Earlier this year the CIPD published its annual Health and Wellbeing at Work Survey in which 37% of employers report that stress related absence has increased in their organisation during the year with workloads/volume of work cited as the most common cause of stress at work (60%), followed by management style (32%) and non-work factors such as relationships and family (27%).

During this interactive presentation we will discuss the statistics, practical insights and techniques that employers can use to create a mentally healthy workplace and share stress busting strategies that we can all use to build resilience and wellbeing.
