Sayer Vincent have also drafted guidance on behalf of a BOND working group titled Good Governance for Safeguarding. The guide is intended to supplement the Charity Governance Code and focuses on the oversight and governance role of UK NGOs’ boards of trustees, but in doing so, sets out what the board should expect the charities’ management to have in place. While drafted for international charities there is much that is also very relevant for all charities.
