The King’s Fund and the Centre for Progression Policy have released a publication on Poverty and the health and care system: the role of data and partnership in bringing change.

Health and care systems can mitigate, reduce, and prevent poverty’s effects on health, but to do this they need to be much better at sharing and acting on data.  The emergence of integrated care systems creates opportunities to work jointly. Poverty causes ill health, drives inequality in health outcomes and increases the use of health services. Data and its analysis can galvanise shared action to tackle poverty.
