Older, isolated people sought for immediate start on a free remote creative programme in the West Midlands

March 29, 2021 1:31 pm

Voluntary Arts have commissioned five projects to bring people together remotely in March & April through creativity and reduce loneliness in the context of lockdown restrictions.

People aged 50+ in the West Midlands will have the chance to create a fun, light-hearted and accessible movement and wellbeing dance routine through open digital community sessions. Participants will be invited to share their experiences of the pandemic, individual anecdotes, creative exercises and co-create the moves and the steps of the ‘Post-Lockdown Dance’. All sessions will be BSL interpreted including closed captions.

“We will provide Covid-safe socially distanced doorstep filming opportunities for those who lack the equipment, knowledge or confidence to film themselves.”
