Citizens Advice Staffordshire South West are currently recruiting for three roles. The roles will be based at the Stafford office at The Hub on Eastgate Street, Stafford but due to COVID-19, staff are currently home working. Interviews for these roles will be conducted by video link.

Citizens Advice Staffordshire South West has a vacancy for a General Advice Services Manager

Salary: £ 24,000 – £28,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Based at the Stafford office. Currently homeworking

We are looking for a General Advice Services Manager to play a key role in managing the day to day delivery of general advice services. If you have management experience, are passionate about supporting and developing a team of paid staff and volunteers and are interested in joining a dedicated, professional team we would love to hear from you.

You will:

  • Have the ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the
    Citizens Advice service
  • Have experience in managing paid staff and volunteers and support them with their
    personal development
  • A good understanding of the need to monitor and evaluate the performance of staff
    against service delivery outputs
  • The ability to manage the practicalities of the advice sessions across all offices
  • Be highly motivated with good people skills
  • Have a positive and adaptable approach to a changing environment
  • Have the ability to plan and organise your work
  • Have good technical skills

    Citizens Advice service
  • Have experience in managing paid staff and support them with their personal
    development
  • A good understanding of the need to monitor and evaluate the performance of staff
    against service delivery outputs
  • The ability to manage the practicalities of delivering specialist advice across all
    offices and be able to deliver specialist debt advice as required
  • Be highly motivated with good people skills
  • Have a positive and adaptable approach to a changing environment
  • Have the ability to plan and organise your work
  • Have good technical skills

We are looking for a Training and Development Officer to play a key part in developing, implementing and delivering a training programme to the frontline team of staff and volunteers. If you have training experience, are passionate about supporting and developing individuals and interested in joining a dedicated, professional team we would love to hear from you.

You will:

  • Have the ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the
    Citizens Advice service
  • Have experience in supporting paid staff and volunteers with their personal
    development
  • A good understanding of the need to monitor and evaluate the performance of staff
    against service delivery outputs
  • The ability to plan and deliver training in a group or in a one to one capacity
  • Be highly motivated with good people skills
  • Have a positive and adaptable approach to a changing environment
  • Have the ability to plan and organise your work
  • Have good technical skills
