Food Support Fund
Stoke-on-Trent City Council is intending to offer grant funding to local Voluntary and Community Organisations to deliver interventions which provide support to households who may be struggling with food costs. The scheme is expected to run until 31 March 2026.
The primary objective of the fund is to provide crisis support to vulnerable households in the most need with the cost of food essentials. The secondary objective is to provide preventative support to prevent vulnerable households from falling into – or falling further into – crisis.
Funding is available to support projects based in Stoke-on-Trent and will support the following types of organisation:
- Constituted Voluntary groups
- Constituted Community groups.
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
- Parish Councils
- Schools
- Food banks
- GP surgeries
Funding Amount
Tier 1 Up to £10,000
Tier 2 £10,000 +
All projects must be delivered by 31st March 2026
Application Deadline
The scheme is expected to run until 31 March 2026.
Any applications received before 31st August 2025, will be seen at a panel in September 2025.
