Shaping the Future of Community Lounges

Are you a Welcoming Space, Community Lounge, or other hyper-local organisation?

Following our initial consultation session in September 2025, we are excited to invite you to join VAST and Stoke-on-Trent City Council in exploring and shaping the future of community lounges. As a valued member of the city’s network of community lounges and/or Welcoming Spaces, your insights and contributions are crucial to developing a model that overcomes current capacity constraints and allows a wider range of venues to participate.

Together, we can explore possibilities and create a more inclusive and expansive Community Lounge model – to ensure that communities across the city have equal access to direct support and services, to strengthen existing networks and relationships, and to build a sustainable, inclusive Community Lounges model.
