Engaging With Your Community | Training
Engaging with your local community is the key to success, and in this session you’ll learn how to engage and make the most of that engagement; an asset that’s right on your doorstep.
As a voluntary organisation, you often need to demonstrate to funders how you work with and involve your local community in advance, proving that what you plan to deliver is truly needed. Then, as your project is delivered, you need to be able to show that you’re achieving the impact you hoped for, and reporting the results and outcomes, and painting an accurate picture of that impact within your project evaluation.
In this training we’ll go through how you can effectively engage with your community to be able to demonstrate all of these things, together with taking a look at the benefits of engaging local people, how to get them involved, and how to take them on a journey of engagement with you, your project, your organisation, and one another. We’ll touch on the legalities of gathering personal details and information, and how to make that information work for you.
VAST has a wealth of knowledge and a century of experience so you can rest assured that you’re getting the training you deserve.
