The Disability Solutions West Midlands and The Henry Smith Charity partnership are seeking to recruit a full time (37hrs per week) Disability Welfare Benefits Advocacy Worker to support people with disabilities and long-term health conditions to secure appropriate welfare benefits, offering support through form-filling, support during work capability assessments and face-to-face assessments, focusing support for those who experience difficulty with self-efficacy.
Based at Disability Solutions HQ (North Staffordshire Medical Institute), the successful candidates will have proven successful experience of working in the advice sector and will have an excellent working knowledge and experience of the welfare benefits system. The successful candidates will have a full driving licence and daily use of a car.
Salary of £18,476 with pension contribution and Employee Assistance Programme.
