CREATE PLACE: Heritage & Digital Leadership Programme
The University of Staffordshire has launched CREATE PLACE, a new project offering FREE executive-style leadership training for heritage leaders, volunteers, and organisations. It’s all fully funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (#HeritagePlaces).
Focussing on heritage and digital, the CREATE PLACE Leadership programme will work with existing consortium networks, local authorities, higher education institutions and regional heritage and culture organisations to address the need for well-supported and trained cultural leaders for our historically rich places and communities.
Is this leadership programme for you?
Are you passionate about your region and how heritage sites and organisations can transform the lives of those communities around you?
Are you leading heritage or cultural activities and have more than 2 years of experience?
Are you part of a heritage organisation, a history and heritage society, a heritage trust, or aspiring to shift your cultural or creative work into one that draws more deeply from the rich history of the place?
Do you feel heritage is a driver for placemaking and digital tools might help you have more impact in your heritage work?
Are you working in the library or heritage sector with aspirations to lead on projects involving history, arts and digital?
If any of the above fit your career aspirations and visions for your place, this programme might be for you.
