Cost of Living Insights Bulletin | VCS Emergencies Partnership

It is thought that this year, nearly all adults (93%) in the United Kingdom are feeling the impact of the cost-of-living crisis. As the cost of basic necessities, such as  food, fuel, energy, and housing continues to rise at an unprecedented rate, many people are looking for urgent and targeted assistance from the voluntary and community sector.

This cost-of-living insights bulletin focuses on the how rising costs are affecting health outcomes, detailing the individual and systemic problems faced by those disproportionately impacted.

In addition to gaining the wider understanding of the issue, our final bulletin which is in the form of an interactive story map, allows partners to identify and direct resources to those who may be hardest hit by the crisis such as the elderly, deprived households, areas with the highest rates of unemployment, ethnic minorities, children etc…
