The Community Led Support (CLS) programme involves a network of organisations working across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire with the responsibility for adult social care and health working with their partners and communities to design and deliver different ways of working which maximise the strengths and community connections of people locally.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council are leading on the implementation of this programme in partnership with the National Development Team for inclusion (NDTi) and want to ensure local communities can understand the programme and get involved.
If you are interested in finding out more about the way Community Led Support programmes work, to better understand how it might affect your communities and how you could get involved then the Spring Forward Festival from NDTi has a packed programme of informative and insightful events.
It is advisable to start your CLS journey with ‘Welcome, update and…. what is community-led support’ on Day 1 (Tuesday 4th May) with Jenny Pitts at 10.00 am.
