  1. How long have you worked for VAST?  About 7 years with a gap in the middle!
  2. What is your job at VAST?  Strategic Projects Manager
  3. What is your favourite thing about working at VAST?  Really lovely team and a fab, varied role.
  4. What do you miss the most about having to work remotely? Deb and Kasia’s baking!
  5. What are you enjoying most about working remotely?  Can be a proper scruff bag!
  6. What is your favourite colour? Green
  7. What is your favourite season?  Genuinely love them all.  Can’t imagine anything worse than living in a country without seasons – I’m always ready for the next one by the time it changes
  8. What is your favourite meal?  Roast dinner
  9. What is your favourite drink? A good peaty Islay whisky or a good cup of tea
  10. What is your favourite holiday destination?  Scottish islands or Denmark
  11. What is your favourite animal? Cat
  12. What is your favourite band/musician?  So hard to pick one as like lots of different types of music but if I have to pick only then Dick Gaughan – back to my folky upbringing!

  14. What is your favourite film? Again, so hard to pick one but if I must This is England
  15. What is your favourite TV show? Currently loving Twin and now I need to go to Norway!
  16. What is your favourite theatre show? Les Miserables
  17. What is your favourite author/book?  A Thousand Splendid Suns – Khaled Hosseini
  18. What is your favourite quote? Oh blimey – not one for inspirational quotes but I really like this from Roald Dahl “My candle burns at both ends, it will not last the night, but arh my friends and oh my foes it gives a lovely light”.  Wish I could say I lived my life like that but I’m much too boring!

  21. When you were a child, what job did you want to be when you grew up? Run a cattery
  22. What do you like to do to relax? Walking
  23. What is your main hobby? Morris dancing
  24. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? A nice little croft in the Hebrides (probably Barra) and a nice flat in Glasgow when I need a city fix!
  25. If you could go back to any period in history for a day, where would you go?  As a child we went on holiday to places like Skara Brae in Orkney and Callanish stones on Lewis (Hebrides).  Wouldn’t float everyone’s boat!  I’d love to see that as a thriving village or a big celebration in the stone circle.
  26. Which four celebrities (dead or alive) would be at your fantasy dinner party?  Hmm not really into celebrities or dinner parties!  Jacinda Ardern, Billy Bragg, Gilles Peterson (for the playlist) and Tom Hardy (Guilty pleasure 😉)
